Mandatory Skills :

Technical :
• Have a proven track record as a.NET c# developer in enterprise-level environments.
• Have an understanding of low-level, real-time programming paradigm. A demonstrable understanding of the windows event model and multi-threaded programming will be essential.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the TCP/IP stack, including the interaction between the various network layers, and best-practices for network and transport-layer application development.
• Experience in C#, .net frameworks 2 and 3.5. XML, schema and webservices (SOAP-based) are an essential requirement. Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of the concepts of webservice architectures and best practices.
• Have experience in developing, testing and deploying ASP.NET applications under IIS.
• Exposure to and an understanding of best practices in multi-platform database techniques. The use/application of ORMs in a DB environment would be useful.
• Be familiar with the use of source code control systems.
• Ideally have some experience in working in a distributed team, working to agreed project timescales under the leadership of a Development Manager.

Other Skills :
• Strong interpersonal skills – Verbal and Written English

Responsibilities :
Key responsibilities include the following:
• Design, develop and configure .NET applications in accordance with agreed design specifications.
• Complete application design, code, unit test and integration test tasks to .NET development standards
• Work to agreed project timescales under the leadership of a Development Manager.
