Formerly known as Imperial Council of Agricultural Research, it was established on 16 July 1929as a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 in pursuance of the report of the Royal Commission on Agriculture. The ICAR has its headquarters at New Delhi. The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) invites application for the recruitment of following staff. The detail about the vacancies are give below. Administrative Officers No. of Vacancies: 19 Posts Salary Pay Scale: Pay Band of PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 + Rs. 5400 (Grade Pay) Qualification: Candidate must be a Graduate of a recognized University securing not less than 55% mark in the final degree examination or equivalent and should have working knowledge of computer. Age: 21-30 years as on 1st January, 2011 Finance and Accounts Officers No. of vacancies: 08 Posts Salary Pay Scale: Pay Band of PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 + Rs. 5400 (Grade Pay) Qualification: Candidate must be a Graduate of a recognized University securing not less than 55% marks in the final degree examination or equivalent and should have working knowledge of computer.
