SBMS Scholarships Offered :

  • RTF: Reimbursement of Tuition Fee in full for students pursuing post matric courses approved by the University/Board.
  • RTF is sanctioned twice in a year i.e. September and March of the Academic Year.
  • MTF: Maintenance charges or Mess charges are sanctioned every month as per the rates mentioned below:

Students Eligible :

  • Students who belong to the categories of SC (including BC-C), ST, BC, EBC and DW (Disabled) having annual parental income of Rupees One Lakh or below.
  • Students whose attendance is 75% at the end of each quarter.

Students not Eligible :

  • Students belonging to the categories other than SC, ST, BC, EBC and DW(Disabled).
  • Whose parental income is more than Rupees One lakh.
  • All Students pursuing the part time courses, online courses.
  • Students admitted under Sponsored seats, Management Quota seats.
  • Students drawing the stipend more than the scholarship amount in aggregate per annum.
  • Students of BC, EBC and DW students studying the Courses offered by open universities, distant mode, category B seats in MBBS, BDS.
  • EBC students studying Intermediate or equivalent courses

Colleges Eligible :

  • All Post Matric Colleges in Andhra Pradesh recognized by Government of Andhra Pradesh/Competent Authority.
  • The list of colleges is communicated by Administrative Departments (Departments of Higher Education, Technical Education, School Education, Health Medical and Family Welfare, Employment and Training) to the Commissioner of Social Welfare.

Reasons for Rejection :

  • If not the bonafide student .
  • Incorrect caste, Income .
  • Non submission of caste, Income certificates .
  • Incorrect course & year of study .
  • Non submission of hard copy of application .
  • If the student is not physically present .
  • Student admitted under management quota .
  • Incorrect course & year of study .
  • Non submission of enclosures .
  • Dicontinued/Detained students in case of renewals .
  • Claiming scholarship for same level courses .
  • Previous sanction verification for renewal .
  • Non receiving of hard copy for Fresh .
  • Non receiving of renewal proposal .
  • Claiming scholarship for same level courses .
  • Not recommended by Field Officer .

First Round of SPAT will be held in schools from 3-9 Dec, 2010. It will consist of three events only – 30 m flying race, 6×10 shuttle Run & Standing Broad Jump. Those scoring over 75% will be recommended by the concrened school for the Round II. Sport department will conduct subsequent rounds on its own to identify top 5000 participants for scholarship.

Round II of SPAT will be hed from 18 Jan, 2011. In this leg, all 7 tests SPAT – 30m Flying, 6 x 10m Shuttle Run, Forward Bend and Reach, Standing Broad Jump, Vertical Jump, Medicine Ball and 800m race – will be administered. The department shall conduct final round later on.

A small synopsis on United India Insurance:
United India Insurance was incorporated as a company on 18 February 1938 and was nationalized in 1972. The present form of United India Insurance was a merger of 22 companies (12 Indian Insurance Companies, 4 Cooperative Insurance Societies and Indian operations of 5 Foreign Insurers, besides General Insurance operations of southern region of LIC).
With its Head Quarters at Chennai, it has 18300 work force spread across 1340 offices providing insurance cover to more than 1 Crore policy holders. It has variety of insurance products to provide insurance cover from bullock carts to satellites.
United India Insurance Admin Officer Vacancies:
There are a total of 300 Admin officer vacancies with category-wise break up as below:

United India Insurance Admin Officer Salary:
The insurance company is offering the Admin officers approx salary of Rs.27,000/- p.m in pay scale of Rs.17240/-840(14)-29000-910(4)-32640 and other admissible allowances.

Age Eligibility: (as on 31.12.2010)
Min: 21 years, Max: 30 years. Age relaxations exist as per Govt. rule.
Academic Eligibility:
The 200 vacant positions have been categorized into four groups:
Group-A: Commerce/Accounts background

Group-B: Legal background
LLB or equivalent qualification with minimum three years experience as a practicing lawyer. (two years experience for SC/ST candidates.
Group-C:
Post Graduate in statistics/ Mathematics/Actuarial Science. Pass in atleast three papers of the examination conducted Actuarial Society of India (any of the papers out of CT – 1, CT -2, CT – 3, CT – 5 and CT -7)
Group-D: Engineering background
B.E / B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering or B.Sc (Agri) with 60% marks(55% for SC/ST candidates)
Group-E: General background
Graduation with 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates) or Post Graduation with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate from recognised University.
Qualifications mentioned above should be from any recognised University / Institute duly approved by UGC / AICTE as the case may be.
