Syndicate Bank:

Syndicate Bank is one of the oldest major nationalized banks of India, established in Udupi, Karnataka in 1925 with the initial name of Canara Industrial and Banking Syndicate Limited.

The name Syndicate Bank sprang from the merger of twenty banks (including the Maharastra Apex Bank Limited and Southern India Apex Bank Limited) with the Canara Industrial and Banking Syndicate Limited. The name of the bank was changed to Syndicate Bank Limited in the year 1964 and the head office of the bank was shifted to Manipal. Currently it has over 2125 branches out of which 1523 are offering core banking services. The net profit of the Bank for the quarter ending December 2008 was Rs.356 crore, with an increase of 30.45% over quarter ending December 2007.

The salary being offered by Syndicate Bank for AM (RD) is as follows:

Rs.14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700 . With this scale-of-pay, total salary per month comes out to be Rs.21199/= aprox.

Syndicate Bank Asst. Manager (RD) Eligibilities:

Age Eligibility: (As on 01.01.2011)

Min. 21 years, Max.:30 years. Age relaxations exists as per Govt. rule.

Educational qualification Eligibility: (As on 01.01.2011)

1.0 Min. 55% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/ Agriculture Engineering/ Fishery Science/ Pisciculture/ Agriculture Marketing and Co-Operation from a recognized University OR

Post Graduate Degree in any of the above disciplines

You must have obtained above qualifications on or before 01.01.2011.

2.0 You should be able to Read, write & speak Official/Regional Language of that State/UT against which you are applying.

3.0 You should working knowledge in Computers.
